The Jigsaw Action Pack

What is the North Lincolnshire Jigsaw?

The Jigsaw is a collection of projects and actions that everyone can do - individuals, groups and whole neighbourhoods - which all contribute to making a more sustainable future for North Lincolnshire.

How can I get involved?

A Jigsaw Action Pack is being produced which is crammed full of interesting ideas, contacts and things that you can do to make a difference to where you live. From ideas about travel, shopping, gardening, and reducing waste, to projects you can do at home, school or work the pack is a collection of actions that really make a difference.

Why a jigsaw?

Any jigsaw only fully works if all the pieces exist and are put in the right place. The same idea can be applied to the concept of sustainability. Imagine that each part of the vision statement represents a different jigsaw piece - one for the natural environment, one for economy and work and so forth. Each project represents an action towards this vision, so each project represents a piece of the bigger jigsaw.

By starting a jigsaw piece project, you are building part of the sustainability jigsaw.

The more complete the jigsaw - the more sustainable North Lincolnshire is becoming.
