Energy

Energy use in the home is responsible for approximately 30 per cent of energy consumed in the UK.

By bringing energy saving into every aspect of your life - work, travel and day to day living, you can make a real difference. Not only will you be doing your bit to help prevent climate change you will also see a difference in your pocket. The average household could save up to £250 a year on energy bills.

North Lincolnshire Council promotes a number of schemes and initiatives that can reduce the amount of energy used and reduce your fuel bills.

Energy Efficiency Grant provides assistance for energy efficient measures such as: cavity wall insulation, loft insulation and heating measures for eligible households. Assistance can also be obtained through this grant to install renewable technologies.

SHEEP (South Humber Energy Efficiency Partnership) provides discounts on cavity wall, loft insulation and renewable technologies.

Warmfront is a government funded grant to provide help with heating and insulation measures to eligible households.

Low Carbon Building Program provides grants for the installation of microgeneration technologies in a range of buildings including households.
