Dangerous dogs

North Lincolnshire Council and Humberside Police share responsibility to deal with dangerous dogs.

If a dog is dangerously out of control in a public place or has bitten a person. An investigation can be carried out which may result in a prosecution of the dog’s owner.

Please note that the dog wardens do not offer an out of hours service and a dangerous dog should be reported to the police.

The council dog warden can be contacted on 01724 297000 or at customerservice@northlincs.gov.uk 

Humberside Police can be contacted on 101.

In an emergency call 999.
