Learner support fund for school sixth form students

The learner support fund provides help and support for North Lincolnshire sixth form students.

The 2007-2008 policy explains the type and amount of support available to eligible students attending sixth form at:

  • Baysgarth School, Barton-upon-Humber
  • Brigg Sixth Form;
  • St Hugh's Communication and Interaction Specialist College

This support is in addition to Education Maintenance Allowances. These are available to 16 and 17 year old students attending a full time course, whose household income is £30810 or less.

The policy does not apply to students attending colleges of further education or sixth form colleges (including John Leggott or North Lindsey College). Students attending these establishments should ask the college for details of their learner support policy.
