Schools hearing support service
The service provides support in schools for children with hearing impairments. The service is based at 46B Newdown Road, South Park Industrial Estate, Scunthorpe. Phone 01724 869480 (minicom facility available on 01724 281189).
There is also a unit for hearing impaired children at Westcliff School in Scunthorpe. Phone 01724 282243.
The Educational Psychology and Specialist Teaching service provides and supports the education and social inclusion of children with additional and special needs, including:
- learning difficulties
- emotional and behavioural difficulties
- autistic spectrum disorders and
- medical needs
