The Educational Psychology and Specialist Teaching Service promotes and supports the education and social inclusion of children and young people with additional and special needs. It works on behalf of children and young people who experience barriers to learning. This includes:
- Anti-bullying
- Educational input to the Youth Offending Team
- Educational psychology
- Primary behaviour support
- Support for children and young people with autistic spectrum disorders
- Specialist SEN (Special Educational Needs) teaching
- Specialist teaching for children and young people with emotional difficulties
- Tuition for children and young people with medical needs
- Personalised learning programmes including the Key Stage 4 provision.
