Secondary school meals

We offer a range of healthy freshly cooked foods, which meet the new food-based standards. The meals offered include traditional meals, freshly made sandwiches, jacket potatoes and self help salad bars.

We have rigorous standards with regard to food and ingredients. Our food "rules" include:

  • A no nut policy
  • We do not knowingly make use of any products containing GM ingredients and seek assurances from our suppliers that the products they provide to us do not contain GM ingredients.

Some items are priced individually and there are meal deal offers too. We work hard with individual schools to create an enjoyable, relaxed dining area.

"Eat up - top up"

In addition, many secondary schools are now running our exciting new "PukkaStuff" scheme.

This scheme works by rewarding children for buying school meals. By buying various meal deals for £2, they receive points that they can collect and turn into rewards by logging onto the PukkaStuff website.

These rewards include mobile phone texts, free photos, discounts on great days out and half price swims at local leisure centres.

PukkaStuff is available in the following schools

  • Baysgarth School
  • Brumby Engineering College
  • Foxhills Performing Arts College
  • Huntcliff School
  • Melior Community College
  • North Axholme School
  • St. Bedes Catholic School
  • Sir John Nelthorpe School
  • South Axholme Community School
  • Vale of Ancholme Technology & Music College
  • Winterton Comprehensive School

To find out more, please see the PukkaStuff website.

In many secondary schools we have cashless catering systems where cash has been replaced by cards.
