The School Food Trust was established by the Department for Education and Skills in September 2005. Its remit is to transform school food and food skills, promote the education and health of children and young people and improve the quality of food in schools.

The British Nutrition Foundation is a scientific and educational charity which promotes the wellbeing of society through the impartial interpretation and effective dissemination of evidence-based nutritional knowledge and advice.

Healthy schools

The National Healthy Schools Programme is an exciting long term initiative that helps young people and their schools to be healthy. We are making a difference to the health and achievement of young people in thousands of schools across England.
