In year admissions
This covers parents who are either moving house, moving into the area or requesting a transfer for other reasons.
Government legislation requires each council to co-ordinate all in year admissions. All parents are required to complete an 'in-year common application form' available from their own council.
You can download the 'in year common application form' from the PDF document attached below. Should you require any further information please contact the admissions team - telephone 01724 297133 or 01724 297134 or email: admissionstoschool@northlincs.gov.uk.

Admission arrangements for the 2012-13 intake
This covers parents whose child is either:
- Transferring from junior/primary school to secondary school
- Transferring from infant school to junior school
- Starting school in reception.
Government legislation requires each council to co-ordinate admissions with other councils and schools within North Lincolnshire who are their own admission authorities. Co-ordinated admissions schemes for 2012-13 are explained below.
Under the admission arrangements all parents are required to complete a 'common application form' which is available from their own council. Parents will be able to make application online. Details of these arrangements can be found in the schools guide 2012-13.
We have consulted on the proposed school admission arrangements for 2012/13. The closing date of the consultation was 28 February 2011.
In accordance with legislation the council and other admission authorities within North Lincolnshire have now determined their arrangements for 2012-13.
Parents and any other interested party had the opportunity to object to any of the determined admission arrangements if they contain practices or criteria that they consider do not comply with the law or the mandatory provision of the schools admissions code up until 31 July 2011.
The determined admission arrangements can be accessed on the determined admission arrangements 2012-2013 page.
Co-ordinated admission schemes 2012-13
A co-ordinated scheme is where admission authorities in an area agree to work together so that every parent/carer receives a single offer of a school place on the same day.
As part of the arrangements between admission authorities within an area the scheme includes:
- The use and processing of a Common Application Form (CAF)
- How offers are determined
- Agreement on dates by which information is exchanged.
Full details of the North Lincolnshire co-ordinated schemes can be accessed on the determined co-ordinated admission schemes 2012-2013 page.
