School Admissions Policy for voluntary aided schools

The governing body of each voluntary aided school is responsible for admissions to the school.

Where parents are seeking the first admission of their child to a voluntary aided infant or primary school, application should be made to the school where parents will be given a copy of the "North Lincolnshire Schools' Guide" and the admission criteria.

When children in voluntary aided schools are approaching an age of transfer, a copy of the "North Lincolnshire Schools' Guide" will be sent to parents together with details of local admission arrangements.

Aided schools set their own admission policies and the local education authority plays no part in decisions about admissions to these schools.

Disclaimer

The local education authority is not responsible for the following summarised admissions policies. If you have any questions about the content or implementation of these policies you should contact the head teacher or the governing body of the school concerned.
