Children showing exceptional musical talent are encouraged to take part in national orchestras, bands and other musical initiatives.
Pupils achieving a merit or distinction at Grade 8 with a National Examination Board are eligible to take advantage of the Advanced Tuition scheme. The scheme provides funding towards a monthly lesson with a teacher of national repute (further information is available from the head of service on 01724 854926).
