Teenage pregnancy

The council produced a report in 1999 that looked at the impact of unplanned teenage pregnancies in North Lincolnshire.

The report outlined the Government's work to try and reduce unplanned teenage pregnancy.

Lynne Goodall is the chair of the teenage pregnancy partnership board. For more information on teenage pregnancy or the report contact her on 01724 297193.

North Lincolnshire teenage pregnancy strategy

North Lincolnshire Council has a ten-year teenage pregnancy strategy in place. A local implementation grant helps fund the scheme. The money funds initiatives, adds value to services and assists with the running of the scheme.

For more information about local sexual health services please contact:

  • SEXWISE, a free and confidential help line, on 0800 28 29 30
  • The DfES website. This has information on the work of the teenage pregnancy unit and the National Strategy.
