The council supports children and young people with additional needs to participate in the decisions which affect them.
The Involving Children and Young People Priority Group has produced, in conjunction with Barnardos, a regional guidance pack. This includes:
- Guiding principles for professionals
- Promises to children and young people
- Implementation of the guiding principles and examples
- Resources
