The North Lincolnshire Diversity Service provides quality support to raise the achievement of all minority ethnic groups of pupils. It also monitors educational provision for those pupils receiving elective education at home.
The service works in partnership with:
- schools
- communities
- and other key stakeholders
to raise expectations and standards and to promote inclusion for all pupils.
It is dedicated to providing a high quality service, which promotes excellence and equality for all.
The aim of the Diversity Service is to provide schools, other agencies and communities with support for several key areas of work. (A list of these is included in the further information document below).
The Diversity Service has a team of specialist teachers and teaching assistants. They have expertise in meeting the needs of minority ethnic pupils, including those with English as an additional language and travellers.
The service offers buy back support to schools in North Lincolnshire with significant numbers of minority ethnic pupils. Other schools are able to access a range of services (listed in the further information document below).
