Inclusive education

The Head of Inclusion Services works in partnership with schools, services and other agencies to improve pupil achievements and well being. This meets Every Child Matters: Change for Children and the Children Act 2004. It also forms the basis of an on-going plan of change.

Inclusion Services is one of many agencies that help provide opportunities for the most needy children to enable them to reach their goals.

Inclusiveness/quality provision is about the on-going process of getting better outcomes for all children and young people. The focus is on those children experiencing poor outcomes or left out of mainstream activities.
