Examinations - Help for Parents

There are seven brief sections to these guidelines, each of which is intended to support you in helping your child through a challenging period!

Getting ready for national examinations can be demanding not only for the student taking them, but also for members of his or her family. Just like decorating a room, most of the work is taken up in preparation. During this period, most students go through emotional ups and downs. Therefore at times they are likely to need your support, and the suggestions which follow are designed to help you to provide this to good effect.

These guidelines have been prepared by Tony Branwhite PhD, Principal Education Psychologist. If you require more information you can contact Dr. Branwhite on 01724 297246 or by Email at tony.branwhite@northlincs.gov.uk.
