Education Development Plan 2002-2007

The Education Development Plan (EDP) for 2002-7 sets out to improve schools and achievements of pupils in North Lincolnshire schools over the next five years.

Unlike the last EDP, this focuses solely on local education authority (LEA) activities, as described in the Government’s Code of Practice on LEA/schools relationships. For example, the activities funded by centrally held budgets from the council or the standards fund. Activities are not included that take place through the Service Level Agreement for school support. These will be identified separately.

The plan is complementary to other plans recently written, such as the Special Education Needs (SEN) Development Plan, and the Behaviour Support Plan. Links are made, but the detail in those plans is not repeated. Similarly there are close links with the Early Years Development and Childcare Plan. The plan is also consistent with overarching council plans and priorities.

The Education Development Plan 2002-2007 is available to download as a Portable Document Format (PDF) file. To view and print the document you will require the appropriate reader. An Adobe Acrobat reader can be downloaded free from the Adobe website (full instructions for downloading the reader are provided on the web site).
