held on 25 February 2008, having been printed and circulated amongst the
members, be taken as read and correctly recorded and signed by the chair.

56 DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – SERVICE PROVISION AND AREAS OF VULNERABILITY –
Interview
with Stuart Minto, Head of Safer Neighbourhoods
- The Chair welcomed
Stuart Minto, Head of Safer Neighbourhoods to the meeting. This was to
enable members of the Panel to ascertain the role and the remit of the Safer
Neighbourhoods Partnership with regards to tackling domestic violence in North
Lincolnshire.
Members
then engaged in a question and answer session with Mr Minto.

– (a) That
Mr Minto be thanked for his attendance and contribution at the meeting, and
(b) that the information received be noted.
57 ‘Break the Pattern – Stop Domestic Violence’ DVD commissioned by It’s My
Right – Members of the Panel watched a DVD commissioned by It’s My Right
which identified the help on offer to victims of domestic violence.

60 Next Stages of the Review – The Service Director Legal and Democratic
provided an oral update to the Panel on the next stages of the review.

61 (15) FLANAGAN REVIEW OF POLICING – FINAL REPORT – The Service Director
Legal and Democratic informed the Panel of the ‘Review of Policing Final Report’
recently published by Sir Ronnie Flanagan and how it would impact on Overview
and Scrutiny.
Resolved
– (a) That the Scrutiny Co-ordinating Panel be made aware of the final report,
and (b) that the position be noted.
62 (16) NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE AREA ADULT PROTECTION COMMITTEE – The Service
Director Legal and Democratic informed the Panel that Cabinet agreed on 23 March
2007 that the Safer and Stronger Communities Scrutiny Committee would oversee
the work of the North Lincolnshire Safeguarding Adults Board.
Consequently,
the Panel considered the 5th Annual Report of the Area Adult Protection
Committee.
Resolved
– (a) That the Chair of the North Lincolnshire Safeguarding Adults Board be
invited to attend a future meeting, and (b) that the Annual Report be noted.
63 (17) LEADER OF THE COUNCIL'S FORWARD PLAN – MARCH TO JUNE 2008 -
The Service Director Legal and Democratic circulated the Leader of North Lincolnshire
Council's Forward Plan for March to June 2008.
The
plan contained details of all matters and issues likely to be the subject of
key decisions for a period of the next four months, updated on a monthly basis.
Members discussed various items on the Forward Plan.

- That the Leader of the Council's Forward Plan for March to June 2008 be noted.
