Implementing Electronic Government

Our Implementing Electronic Government (IEG) statement explains how the council is using, and intends to use Information and Communication Technology to:

  • provide convenient, quality and responsive services to citizens and businesses,
  • meet national targets for the provision of services delivered electronically, and
  • achieve continuous improvement in value for money.

The IEG statement sets out in some detail our approach to e-service delivery and the range of innovative plans we have in place.

A complete copy of our latest IEG statement (December 2004) is available for you to download and print.
