North Lincolnshire Local Area Agreement

The Local Area Agreement (LAA) sets out the priorities for our area. These priorities are agreed between central government and the North Lincolnshire Strategic Partnership (NLSP).

The NLSP is made up of key players from the public, voluntary and community and business sectors; people who are senior enough to decide future plans and commit their organisation's resources to implementing this agreement.

LAAs simplify some central funding, help join up public services more effectively and allow greater flexibility for local solutions to local circumstances.

Our LAA has four themes:

  • Children and Young People
  • Safer and Stronger Communities
  • Healthier Communities and Older People
  • Economic Development and the Environment

Under these themes the agreement describes the outcomes we want to achieve, the indicators we will use to measure progress and the improvement targets we have set. The agreement also outlines our funding arrangements.

If you have any questions about the LAA please contact:
