'Going forward together' is the council's combined strategic and best value performance plan.
It sets out how we will achieve the vision and ambitions we have for the North Lincolnshire area, its communities and the people who live and work here.
It clearly sets out the key challenges we face in doing that and the actions we will take to overcome them. And it shows how we will monitor and evaluate our success as we make the journey to transform North Lincolnshire towards a better future for all.
We believe it's important for local people to have clear information on not only our priorities and plans but how well we are performing.
Going forward together is also the council's best value performance plan. It contains details of the performance management framework we use to measure progress in achieving our ambitions.
It also contains details of our performance against national and local indicators, known as Best Value performance indicators, and the targets we have set to improve them.
The best value performance plan in chapter four is updated annually and is published in June. This section also shows how the council is performing against its key priorities.

The plan was published on 30 June 2006 in electronic format. Hard copies can be printed off free of charge at all of the council's local link offices and public libraries.

The council certifies that individual contracts entered into in 2007/08 comply with the Best Value requirements, including Workforce Requirements in the Code of Practice.
