Street trading consent

People trading on a street or verge of a street may need street trading consent. For more information please contact the council's Licensing team on 01724 297592.

Definition of a street:

A street is any road, footway or other area to which the public have access without payment.

Definition of trading:

Trading is the selling or exposing or offering for sale of any article (including a living thing) in a street.
