Street activities

For activities to take place on the pedestrianised area of Scunthorpe's High Street, you need to fill in an application form (see below).

The application needs returning to the Licensing Division, Church Square House, Scunthorpe, PO Box 42.

Permission will not be given for activities of a commercial nature.

Please note:

  • Vehicular access onto the high street isonly via Gilliatt Street (near theBlarney Stone pub) - other accesses are for emergency vehicles only.
  • Vehicular exit is via Cole Street only.

There is only one site available for vehicles/structures of this nature - this is at the side of the HSBC bank

Bollards are erected at 10am. Soyou'll need to be on site before this time. The bollards are removed at 4pm, so you'll not be able to exit the site until then.
