Marriage wedding venues

Marriages and Civil Partnerships in pursuance of Section 26(1)(bb) of the Marriage Act 1949 and Section 6(3A)(a) of the Civil Partnerships Act 2004

Civil marriage ceremonies and civil partnerships can only be conducted in registry offices or approved premises. Premises seeking approval from the council have to satisfy a number of criteria. These are based on the requirements of the registrar and health and safety inspectors.
