North Lincolnshire Council's audited statement of accounts shows its financial performance for the year to 31 March, and its financial position at that date.
The accounting statement consists of:
- Consolidated Revenue Account - This details income and expenditure for the council's services and consolidates the income and expenditure for the General Fund and the Housing Revenue Account.
- Consolidated Balance Sheet - This sets out the financial position of the council as at 31 March and consolidates the individual balance sheets for the General Fund, Housing Revenue Account and the Collection Fund.
- Statement of Total Movements in Reserves - This summarises movements on the council's capital and revenue reserves.
- Cash Flow Statement - This summarises the inflows and outflows of cash relating to the General Fund, Housing Revenue Account and Collection Fund.
- Housing Revenue Account - This shows the income from, and costs of providing, council housing and related ancillary services to council tenants.
- Collection Fund - This summarises income from the Council Tax and business rates (NNDR), precepts and demands upon the Fund.
