A new race equality scheme was approved by councillors at the full council meeting on Wednesday 23 April 2003.
The council now has a legal duty to produce a race equality scheme. This sets out how it will promote race equality and details specific action to be taken over the next three years.
The scheme also takes into account the work that is already being done to promote race equality in North Lincolnshire. This includes the Multi-Faith Partnership, Crosby Local Link and the support provided to the South Humber Racial Equality Council.
The full race equality scheme is available as a Portable Document Format file and therefore requires a suitable reader to view and print. The viewer is available from the Adobe website (full instructions for downloading the viewer are provided on the website).
