The Corporate Diversity Plan helps the council to think about how diversity will be integrated into everything it does - including policy making and service delivery.
The plan will also help the council achieve all five levels of the Equality Standard for Local Government. The equality standard sets targets for localb councils to them improve their services and show up any weaknesses.
