The council is the largest employer in North Lincolnshire, with around 7,250 employees and annual gross budget of £278 million. The services of the council are delivered by 10 separate service areas. A service director leads each.
The main council offices are in Brigg and Scunthorpe, but services are delivered across the council through a network of local service points. This includes schools, youth centres, libraries and residential homes. We also have contact points for enquiries on any aspect of the council - these are called Local Link offices.
The main council offices in Scunthorpe are Pittwood House and Church Square House, and in Brigg, Hewson House.
Service directors report to an Executive Management Team (EMT). This comprises: Simon Driver, Chief Executive, and two deputy chief executives - Richard Stiff and another to be appointed later this year. They are based at Pittwood House, Ashby Road, Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, DN16 IAB.
