Council tax valuation bandings

The price bandings are based upon the following property values:

  • Band A - Value not over £40,000
  • Band B - Between £40,000 - £52,000
  • Band C - Between £52,000 - £68,000
  • Band D - Between £68,000 - £88, 000
  • Band E - Between £88,000 - £120,000
  • Band F - Between £120,000 - £160,000
  • Band G - Between £160,000 - £320,000
  • Band H - Over £320,000

Council tax valuations are based on the price the property would have fetched if it had been sold on 1 April 1991.
