In September 2007, Cabinet approved a project to develop the former site and transform it into an iconic entertainment venue that North Lincolnshire people can be proud of.
Work to demolish the Youth Centre on Doncaster Road began in December 2007.
Architects explored design options for the new facility. In each option they suggested that the new venue maintain its look and feel by retaining the original 1931 frontage.
We carried out a consultation to find out what people hought about our plans for this new and exciting project.
