Local people were able to view and comment on future planning policy documents online. This allowed the council to carry out wide ranging public consultation on new planning policy documents via the Internet. This type of consultation helps local people to give comments/representations on specific points within a document. It also allows them to:
- See that the council has received their comments.
- Share their comments with other consultees.
- Track the outcome of their comments.
