The Cabinet is the top decision-making body in British Government. Members of the Cabinet include Secretaries of State from all government departments and other ministers. They meet once a week in 10 Downing Street to discuss various issues.
The government can make its policies become law. A law is formally known as an Act of Parliament. MPs and members of the House of Lords discuss a draft Act and suggest changes in Parliament before it becomes law.
