North Lincolnshire youth forum

X-Press is the name of North Lincolnshire's exciting youth forum. It's for any young people aged 11 to 19 years (25 years for young people with disabilities).

The forum:

  • Discuss issues and share information
  • Involve young people in decision making
  • Makes sure the voice of young people is heard.

X-Press young people can take part in activities, events and residentials. They also work with the Youth Service to administer the Youth Opportunities and Youth Capitol Funds.

The next meetings are planned for

  • 17 July 2008
  • 4 September 2008
  • 9 October 2008
  • 13 November 2008

They take place from 7.15 to 9pm at Oswald House, 74 Oswald Road, Scunthorpe, DN15 7PG.

More details are available at the X-PRESS website.

If you are a young person come along and give it a try. We may be able to help where transport is a problem.

Coming up in 31st October 2008:

X-Press is helping to plan The Great Youth Debate - a chance for young people to meet together for a day at Pittwood House in Scunthorpe and really get to the bottom of things that matter.
