Name of service:
NCH, Children and Families Project.
Service Offered:

To provide a therapeutic service to children and young people who have suffered significant harm.  This can be in the form of emotional, physical or sexual harm, neglect or the effects of domestic violence.    

A support service is offered to the carers of the children and young people.  This work involves knowledge and understanding of the effects of abuse and of the therapeutic process.

Who is service for:
Children and young people up to the age of 18 years (or 21 years if they have been in the care of the council).

How to refer:

An agency will need to support a referral to the service and provide a recent assessment.

Opening Times:

9am to 5pm Monday - Friday (By appointment only)

Later appointments can be negotiated in certain circumstances.
