North Lincolnshire Council has joined forces with GRANTfinder to provide a free online searchable database that can identify funding, grants or sponsors for a wide range of activities or projects.
The GRANTnet system is already very popular with community and voluntary groups, sports and social clubs, schools, social enterprises and small businesses.
GRANTnet is a straightforward free-to-use service that searches for relevant funding opportunities ranging from European funds through to lottery awards and charitable trusts. The main features of this interactive database are:
- Information on over 4,000 grants and incentives
- Data is sourced from European and UK government sources, including government departments, local councils, charitable trusts and corporate sponsors
- The system is updated every two weeks to ensure access to the very latest funding information
- Quick identification of funding sources relevant to individual projects or schemes.
How to access GRANTnet
You can register and use GRANTnet on the GRANTnet website.
To search the database, you will need to answer a few simple questions about your project or activity and the type of funding you require, for example, grant, sponsor. Once the information has been submitted, GRANTnet provides an overview of all funding schemes suitable for your project.
When you have completed a session on GRANTnet, details of the final search are automatically sent to the council. The council can provide funding advice, support and project management.
