Corporate sponsorship

North Lincolnshire Council is committed to working in partnership. It aims to provide excellent public services and to maximise the use of all available resources to meet local needs.

To this end the council seeks to attract funding through sponsorship or advertising activity in conjunction with commercial companies and organisations whilst maintaining its probity as a public body. The reasons why a company sponsors an activity can be numerous, but include gaining good publicity, gaining credibility and even for personal interest.

For sponsorship to take place both parties must benefit, while the recipient will benefit from some form of payment, in goods or kind, the donor will benefit in terms of good publicity or credibility by association.

While many local and national companies get involved in sponsorship deals, most have preferred areas of involvement.

The external funding service holds details of companies who have used sponsorship in the past.
