A receptionist will take your call and put you through to the duty social worker or to a social worker who knows the child.
Or you can call into any of the council's Local Link Offices.
In the case of out of office hours emergencies people can contact the extended hours team. Callers may get an answer machine, in which case the answer machine will be regularly checked for messages. It is important to remember that this service is not a replacement for the emergency services, such as the police or ambulance service.
