The council's External Funding Service is designed to make the most of funding opportunities and take up in North Lincolnshire.
The funding officers work with its partners and internal departments to identify all kinds of external funding opportunities and helping them secure them. These include:
There are a wide range of funding bodies that give grants to a variety of different projects. These range from children's play equipment to major development programmes like Yorkshire Forward.
Once funding is secured the programmes officers manage the delivery of externally funded programmes inline with the External Funding Strategy. This involves managing claim submissions and evaluating the performance of schemes to meet the requirement of the funding guidance and at the same time, measure the impact of the target population and the overall vision of the programme.
