Through regeneration, North Lincolnshire Council is committed to improving North Lincolnshire - its buildings, its economy, and its communities - as a place to live, work and visit. Ranging from multi-million pound transformational projects, to the refurbishment of village halls, area renaissance projects across North Lincolnshire are delivered through four different programmes.
- Urban renaissance which is focused on regenerating the urban centre of Scunthorpe
- Rural renaissance focuses on improving the rural towns of the Isle of Axholme, and in particular, Crowle
- Special projects provide community infrastructure and partnership support to organisations across North Lincolnshire
- LEADER funding (Rural Development Programme for England) aims to improve the rural areas of Northern Lincolnshire and provides funding to support:
- Village renewal
- Increasing access to basic services in rural communities
- Improving heritage, culture and tourism
