Markets

North Lincolnshire has a great tradition for markets dating back over 800 years. Our friendly markets offer excellent quality and great value for money. They sell everything from fresh meats and fish to housewares and handmade crafts.

Scunthorpe market days are Friday and Saturday. But the food hall is open Monday to Saturday. The markets in Brigg and Ashby take place on a Thursday. For details call 01724 297816.

Stalls

If you are interested in a stall at the general markets, call the Markets Manager. Tel: 01724 297816.

Producers interested in taking a stall at the Farmers’ Market should call the Tourism Development Officer. Tel: 01724 297356.

Markets - cleaning

The council keeps the local market grounds clean and free from litter.

If you wish to report a problem with cleanliness on our market grounds, please report it to the Markets Manager on 01724 297816.

Farmers' markets

Brigg also has a Farmers’ Market. This takes place on the fourth Saturday of the month. It sells a wide range of local foods direct from the producers. For information call 01652 657053.

Specialised markets

Specialty markets are also held during the year. For details see our events pages.
