The trends and opportunities for the region's chemical, process and energy generating industries
Wednesday 4 June 2008, saw more than 100 delegates come together for the Humber's Renewable Process Industries Conference at Forest Pines Hotel, North Lincolnshire. Hosted within Business Week 2008, Humber Chemical Focus, North Lincolnshire Council and Yorkshire Forward were pleased to be associated with the prestigious series of events.
The conference explored the growing chemical, energy-generating and renewable process industries in the Yorkshire and Humber region.
Keynote speakers, experts and industry insiders discussed the emerging trends and the opportunities for carbon based industries and the renewable economy, including the development of new industrial carbon based supply chains to provide feed-stocks for energy, chemicals and transport fuels.
Discussions also included the need for business leaders to respond to new challenges set by climate change policies including the development of bio-mass based energy generation.
