Making rural pubs the focal point for community services

North Lincolnshire Council and Pub is the Hub' would like to invite you to a free workshop to help rural pubs stay at the heart of the community.

  • Tuesday 30 March 9.30 - 3.30pm. Haven Inn, Barrow Haven.

'Pub is the Hub' encourages rural pub owners, licensees and their local communities to work together to support and retain local services, which, wherever possible, can be located within the pub itself.

In the last six years over 300 pubs and communities have been supported by 'Pub is the Hub' local network nationally.

The workshop, which is aimed at rural pubs and licensees, will cover:

  • Getting involved
  • Identifying community needs
  • Developing and implementing your ideas and research
  • The future

The workshop is free of charge, however there will be a £10 charge to visitors based outside of North Lincolnshire. Refreshments and a buffet will be provided.

For more information about this visit the Pub is the Hub website.
