Museums and galleries

The North Lincolnshire Museum is located on Oswald Road in Scunthorpe.  It depicts North Lincolnshire’s early and later history through displays of geology, archaeology and social history. A programme of exhibitions is displayed in the gallery throughout the year. Family activities are arranged during the school holidays.

Baysgarth House Museum in Barton upon Humber is run by a trust.

The council is also responsible for running the 20-21 Visual Arts Centre in Scunthorpe.
