Description
The council's Food and Safety team carry out health and safety inspections in a wide range of premises in North Lincolnshire. These include offices, warehouses, shops, tyre and exhaust fitters, consumer services and licensed premises.
The purpose of these inspections is to check that businesses are complying with health and safety laws and to ensure that people working in, and visiting these workplaces are safe and healthy.
The team also investigates accidents that occur in these workplaces, deal with health and safety complaints from both employees and the public and provide advice and information.
