Debt advice services

Description

If you're having trouble paying your council rent or council tax please don't just hope the problem will go away.

The sooner you get in touch to discuss your payment problems, the easier it may be to sort out a solution. If you are in financial difficulties due to low income you may be entitled to council tax or housing benefit.

There are a number of organisations that can give advice on debt and money problems. These include the Citizens Advice Bureau and the National Debtline.
