North Lincolnshire Museum covers all periods in British archaeology. Artefacts are available for study by students and researchers.
The Portable Antiquities Scheme based at North Lincolnshire Musuem offers identifications and advice on any archaeological finds made by members of the public.
The Historic Environment Record (HER) holds details of archaeological sites, find spots and listed buildings. It also has reports from excavations and surveys carried out in North Lincolnshire. The records are available to view by appointment.
