Archaeology

Description

The Sites and Monuments record holds details of archaeological sites, find spots and listed buildings. It also has reports from excavations and surveys carried out in North Lincolnshire. The records are available to view by appointment.

The Portable Antiquities Scheme offers identifications and advice on any archaeological finds made by members of the public.

Community Archaeology gives anyone the chance to find out more about the past.

North Lincolnshire Museum covers all periods in British archaeology. Artefacts are available for study by students and researchers.
