Description
The council carries out programmed inspections and sampling throughout the food chain, from farm through to manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers. This is to ensure that various aspects of food comply with legal requirements.
We also check that fertilisers and feeding stuffs comply with legal requirements. In particular, we check compliance with the 1970 Agriculture Act.
