Complaints

How to make a Complaint

In the first instance all complaints should be reported to a council office. A good way to do this would be by calling 01724 297000 or visit one our Local Link Offices where staff will do everything possible to sort matters both speedily and informally.

Alternatively you can contact us via the website using our online Complaints Form.

The council has produced a leaflet called 'Complaint About the Council?' which gives you more information on how to make a complaint. You can download a copy of this leaflet here.

Once you have contacted the council to complain, you will get a reply within 10 working days.

If you are not happy with council's response, tell us, and your complaint will be investigated further.

If, as a result of your complaint, you are not happy with the way in which it was handled by the council, you can also contact.
