Sustainable Procurement

North and North East Lincolnshire Councils recognise they have a vital role in furthering sustainable development through their procurement activities.

Procurement decisions have a major socio-economic and environmental implication, both locally and globally, now and for future generations. Therefore the councils have adopted a Sustainable Procurement Policy setting out how they will use their buying power to consider goods and services that respect the environment, and take into account the social and economic impacts of procurement.

To learn more about sustainable procurement at North and North East Lincolnshire Councils, or to feedback any comments or queries, please contact Nathan Swinney on nathan.swinney@northlincs.gov.uk or call 01724 296064
