Household Recycling Centre Access Permit Application

Conditions of permit issue;

None transferable.
Permit only valid for a single vehicle registration number.
Permits will not be issued for vehicles over 3,500kg revenue weight.
No sign written vehicles allowed at the household recycling centres. (Cottage Beck Road Household Recycling Centre will accept sign written vehicles where waste is payable by weight).
The household recycling centre attendants reserve the right to refuse access to the site if they suspect that the waste is of commercial origin. Issue of a permit does not automatically give the right to tip.
Permit only valid for the site specified. Where recycling facilities are not available at the designated household recycling centre arrangements can be made to use an alternative site.
If the registered keeper lives within the area covered by Lincolnshire County Council, the permit can only be used at Kirton in Lindsey or Barnetby Household Recycling Centres.

Please note - To submit an application in this way you are required to attach the relevant documents. If you are unable to do this, please print the application form and send via the post with the relevant documents. If the relevant document(s) required to process the application are not received within two weeks we will discard your application form and you will be required to resubmit an application form again.

The registration number is issued by the Environment Agency to companies in the UK who carry controlled waste as part of their business.

Supporting Documentation

Please supply a copy of the following documents.

DVLA V5 registration document *

Please note:

A copy of page 2 of the vehicle registration document is required showing all vehicle details, not a copy of the front page.
If you only have a new keepers supplement you're also required to supply insurance details with your address on for the vehicle until you receive your V5 document.

Permission letter from employer *

A letter from your employer to say you have permission to use the vehicle for personal use (preferably on letter headed paper).

Duty of care waste transfer note for past 12 months *

These include receipts or documents (such as waste transfer notes), that show how your business waste is disposed of.
